Active IQ Academy teams up with Power Plate International to offer eLearning options

Active IQ Academy, the eLearning resource for the delivery of health and fitness industry qualifications, has announced a new contract partnership with Power Plate International.

Available from May Active IQ Academy will deliver the specialist training providers' Fundamentals Academy online course, marking the first time that the course has been offered directly to fitness instructors through a specially tailored eLearning platform.

Until now, Power Plate's Fundamentals Academy training has only been offered to staff of the company's corporate partners via a membership system, so the widespread delivery of the qualification with Active IQ Academy represents a new route to market.

Active IQ Academy's eLearning platform provides learners the opportunity to study the Power Plate course with both flexibility and convenience. Coursework can be submitted online to create individual student portfolios, making the course suitable for fitness professionals across the country, and allowing learners to fit their study around any other personal or professional commitments they may have.

The Power Plate Fundamentals Academy eLearning course has been developed to allow Personal Trainers, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, Therapists, and Medical Practitioners to understand the science and application of Acceleration Training. The theory includes; biomechanics, neurophysiology, and introduction to the Acceleration Training Pyramid™ (ATP) program design methodologies. The course also offers two REPS points to the learner once the online exam has been successfully completed.
